Lady Pepperell Conference

Cell 2 Soul Conference
September 26 – 28, 2014
Lady Pepperell Cottages
Wyndham, Maine

Dear Colleague,

We are planning a weekend gathering on a quiet cove on Lake Sebago, Maine for the last weekend of September, 2014. The program will address the humanities and social sciences as they apply to medicine, health care and one’s life in general.

The Pepperell Conference is by invitation only and will be limited to fifteen individuals.  It will be an opportunity to connect with "kindred spirits," and consider some topics that are of import to patients and care providers alike.  It is subtitled:  "And Gladly Wolde She Lerne and Gladly Teche" because those who elect to come will do both.  Speakers will offer their wisdom freely and with spirit.

We plan to gather like-minded individuals in this peaceful place to spend an enlightening, stimulating and collegial weekend.  Keen students, young professionals, grey-beard-loons: all are invited.

Here is a tentative syllabus:

        Fri. Sept. 26:  5:00 p.m. Welcome Reception + BBQ
        Sat. Sept. 27 a.m.:  Presentations
Saturday Afternoon:  Kayaking on the lake
        Saturday Evening:  Clambake
Sunday Morning:  Presentations followed by picnic lunch

Tuition will be ~ $150 for those who can afford it. Students attend free. If you elect to join us, your time here will be both personally and professionally rewarding.  Lodging will be reasonable.

Sincerely yours,
